Barnsley are pushing hard to extend Alex Mowatt's contract by 18 months. With 7 goals and 7 assists he seems a handy player. Club captain and puts in a defensive shift. He should defiantly remain on GR's shopping list.

Happy odds: 3/2 on

Why would Mowatt want to leave a team that reached the playoffs, move to a more expensive part of the World and away from his family and roots for a club that needs an influx of players and a strong following wind to have any chance of making the playoffs next season?

Can’t see, but would love, it happening.

Money. Signing on fee would cover a large deposit on a house.

I noticed Murray Wallace & Ben Thomson on our released players. Both are on contracts at present surely?
The list is for those with contracts due to expire, doesn’t mean released.

that being said, don’t think either of those two are out of contract next month.

Hibs defender Ryan Porteous is expected to be the subject of transfer bids this summer.
The young centre-back was the subject of a £1 million bid from Millwall in the January transfer window and the Easter Road side are braced for renewed interest in the Scottish youth international this summer.

One of the teams chasing Porteous, the man in the car park reports is Champions League hopefuls Galatasaray. The Super Lig side finished second last season and are looking to bolster their squad of the new campaign.

A seven-figure bid is expected in the next week. It is similar to the offer submitted by Millwall but with a number of add-ons which could make the overall value much greater.

The 22-year-old played 42 times for Jack Ross’ men last season as Hibs reached the semi-final of the Betfred Cup and the final of the Scottish Cup, all while finishing third in the league table and clinching a return to European football next term.

Millwall youngster Isaac Olaofe is being linked with a move away, with Football League World claiming that a ‘host’ of League Two clubs are seeking a loan move this summer.

Olaofe, 21, spent the season just concluded on loan with National League championship Southport.
He netted 14 goals in 37 league appearances for the club having spent time on loan with St Johnstone previously.
Now though, Football League World claim that Olaofe is wanted by a number of League Two clubs on loan this summer and it could be his first taste of EFL football.
Gary Rowett’s side ended the Championship season on a run of one win in six, with their final outing of the season being a 6-1 defeat at Coventry City.
It placed the Lions in 11th of the final table – a few places down from their 8th-place finish last time round – but hopes remain high that with a few incomings, Millwall can be contenders.
In Olaofe though, Millwall seem to have a real prospect on their hands. He’s been slightly late to blossom but he proved at Southport last season that he’s a player with real potential and a League Two move would be ideal for him.
The club hasn’t had too many youth products to shout about of recent seasons but fans will be pleased to see names like Olaofe progressing and should he seal another loan move this summer and impress, Rowett could look to fast-track him into the first-team.

Terrible report get your facts right.it was Sutton you mugs.
