Quotes from the Charlton no life forum

They just keep giving

I'd prefer some bigger clubs down here to be honest. I hear a lot of comments about players looking forward to coming to the Valley because we're a big fish and our home form definitely supports that. If teams like Wednesday come down let the smaller clubs be desperate to beat them, it just adds to the pressure for them and I don't think they'll do well.

Danish Dave is bringing out an album, which will include a song written about Charlton 😂...

This fella is more David Brent than David Brent is 😂😂😂
Think the song on the album is about his Spotters, and its called.....

Please Don't Make Fun Of My Trainspotters (to the tune of Please Don’t Make Fun of The Disableds)

by David Brent (some lyrics changed by Life with the Lions - Danish Dave on vocals and acoustic guitar).

Oh
Please don't make fun of my trainspotters
There's nothing funny about them you know
We’re the biggest club in the South East of London
But now we’ve hit an all time low
Oh no, no, no

Oh
Please don't make fun of my trainspotters
Down and out in old League One
I‘ve a five year plan to get us into Europe
Champions League, gonna have us some fun!
Oh yes, yes, yes

Oh
Please don't make fun of my trainspotters
Or you’ll be banned from the Valley you see
You‘ll miss us lifting the Champions league trophy
See us laughing at Smallwall
hee hee hee

Oh
Please don’t make fun of my trainspotters
Just got relegated to the Championship
Crying now as we‘re back playing Smallwall
We’re just so fucking shit!

Time to go, gonna cut my losses
Don‘t want to own a club full of tossers
Lost to Smallwall both times this year
Left those fans crying in their beer
Flew out of London, back home to Denver
Never more be a football spender
Learn’t my lesson, feel so pathetic
For putting money into Charlton Athletic
Should have realised, should have pulled the plug
Before they made me a fucking mug!
Now I’m home, no more taking the knee
Just running my pharmaceutical company

Oh
Please make fun of those trainspotters
Tell them pride comes before a fall
Not the biggest club in the South East of London
That claim to fame is the mighty Millwall
Oh yes, yes, yes
