Haha! You just have to put the ball in the near post these days to get past Bart. Think his age is catching up with him.
In his defence I’m being lenient The boy struck that shot with everything he had and more, bit lucky it went where it did. Don’t think Bart even see it.

The thing that impressed me most about McNamara was his attitude. You could tell he absolutely loved every minute being in a Millwall shirt. Decent going forward, a great through ball in the first half, some good crosses. He was defensively sound and there were a couple of full-blooded tackles that you could tell he really enjoyed. The boy was a credit to himself.
Great post and great to read. I can't wait to see him play at the Den.

One other thing Mark. I was specialist mid-off, sometimes short sometimes silly, in my cricket life.

If a ball had been cracked at me at that speed and I hadn't got a hand to it, I would have been mightily annoyed with myself. And I'm talking a tiny cricket ball, not a bloody huge football by comparison....

A player that breaks up play, wins free kicks and not frightened to get stuck in. The bread and butter stuff that won't stand out or have you on your feet applauding, but an essential part of any Wall side. I'm pleased for him and now hope he's cut a bit of slack by his critics.
I will for 1 game mate :grinning: needs to do it every game or I’m back to cunting him come 4:45 Saturday though
