In fairness to Arthur the horse would have had a fantastic chance on paper and he was a work in progress, I would most certainly back it (odds against) to beat his victor of last night if they should re-oppose
99% of the time backing odds-on is the road to ruin with the odd exception such as Frankle 10/11 for the 2000gns it was printing money bar a bad injury and that could happen to any horse, so if injury is a worry leave well alone, a 10/1 chance with a broken hock is the same result as a 4/6 with the same injury.
So back to the drawering board Arthur and remember form in the book is far better than overhyped morning glories and reputation has to be proven and not worth the risk.
