The good old days.
And people think we have good comedians now.
Incidentally, I have visited Spikes grave at St. Thomas The Martyr Churchyard in Winchelsea, East Sussex. A lovely parish church.

I used to have a caravan in Winchelsea saw Spike in the Indian in Rye once.
first holiday i ever recall was their
Went back a few years later with 3 mates and the people we went to see, a friends family had gone away for the day
Ended up sleeping by that ruined castle for the night ha, kin freezing i recall
what was it a shop, a bingo place, a club has you went in and another little small one as you drove in
Oh and a pub and a burger stall
Good few caravans mind

Famous for the testing area for the bouncing bomb

The Club on the right as you drive in and reception on the left. Then swimming pool on the right.
Outside before you drive in is a pub and Co-Op.
