    Championship relegation watch

I'd prefer Huddersfield Town & Sheffield Wednesday to go down for the sake of the team and the travelling away fans. Still can't comprehend what NH has done for us tbh... we can certainly sleep better these next few weekends.

    I have had a idea

I not bothered either way... but if they want to break away... then go! BUT, we need to make sure that as we would now be different leagues/companies etc then there must be a clause in the system that says they are NOT allowed to poach/cherry pick players from OUR system and vice versa.

    I have had a idea

I've heard the Premiership want to break away from the football league... if true, they'll keep all that money for themselves.

Things the club should be doing NOW

Not sure if it's even viable/possible but if we found investors or government backing to make a '(Inter)national' stadium that could hold additional events e.g World cups/ International games or even the Olympics & Concerts which would supplement the clubs income? It may require relocating...

    Forest rant at VAR

Fair enough Forest & Everton get points deducted, they've broken rules, and Everton are up for a third point bash If I've heard correctly, however, why don't they (the F.A officials!) address the elephant in the 'Premier' room a team with 115 issues outstanding?

    Next season’s squad and expectations

With all due respect, I do not want that man ANYWHERE near our club... we were lucky that Neil Harris came back to sort out damage control... If they kept him on we would have been relegated with Rotherham United already... (no conspiracy theory!)

    HARRIS

Possibly, but hopefully they'd get the players to beat the lower teams too..., that's where we fail to pick up points to make our mark in the Championship.

    Next season’s squad and expectations

EXACTLY what I was thinking, I just mentioned on another thread that he will certainly do for the interim but long term... jury is still out on that one. I my heart of hearts, I hope he becomes a natural and smashes it (ends his career with us) but like you said we keep losing Bread and butter...

    HARRIS

    True true.

    HARRIS

I agree in part... he will be good for us in the interim but we may need a more stronger tactical manager for the long run but then again if we don't have the finance to get better players it will leave us treading water at best.

2023-24 League Ladders Game (47) Plymouth (Home)

    Millwall: 2 v 0 :Plymouth Argyle
  12. Millwalljohn

    Plymouth game.

It'll be a chance to see their top scorer 'Morgan Whittaker' in action and currently 3rd highest goalscorer in the Championship with 19 goals plus 8 assists. Only 23 years old, currently worth 5 Million pounds (approx) and far too good for Plymouth to hold on to (especially if they go down)...

    HARRIS

Would be encouraging if he showed some "experimentation/put on a few of the Youth" in the last few matches now we can breath.

    HARRIS

Love him or hate him it's clear that Harris saved our necks with games to spare, I dread to think what would have happened if they decided to hold on to JE for a few more games!! I've never wanted a season to be over as much as this one. PPHHEEWWW

On this day 25 year ago

That was the first game I took my missus to. I remember there was a minutes silence for a particular reason and someone clearly had too much brown water before the game and was yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs!! BTW their goal was well offside... the referee robbed us.

    Ever support anyone else?

In my junior school all the kids were Tottenham fans so for a while I didn't want to be singled out and all that. My dad was never into football so never took me at all. After I left school all my mates were 'Nigels' and went to a few games but I felt empty and even knew back then that they...

Millwall Under 18s PDL Cup Final Tonight

You're right but it does niggle me when bigger clubs do this and is so disrespectful when they don't pay their dues.

    Southampton.

I think coming from a league lower with the lack of funds as the rest of us and competing with these teams who rely on parachute payments to bounce straight back up... Ipswich have done incredible and should inspire the rest of the teams that it IS possible to go up with a half decent squad...
