    Charlie Hurley RIP

Very well regarded over here too. He was capped for RoI 40 times and also captained the team for half of those. Born in Cork but moved to London as a child - a member of the great London Irish family.

What he has done for us this season will be good for his CV. Say what you like about him but if he decided to walk in the summer, he'd have no problem finding a new job and probably even into next season if things do turn a bit sour for him with us.

    Longman

He's all of those things but what really tips the balance in favour of signing him is potential. At 23, there could be alot more to come from him, he is well capable of improvement.

A reason to hope that Leeds feck up their remaining matches so Ipswich have won promotion by the final day and are in holiday mode when they play Huddersfield. As if we need a reason to hope that Leeds feck up:LOL:

I wouldn't fancy being in Blackburn's position. They've got Coventry at home and Leicester away in their last 2, could easily see them getting nothing out of either. As others have said, it's great to be watching who's going through the trap door when we're safe.

Spotters , may as well fold immediately.

Not doing well so far. They tip Barcelona to win in 2024.

    Millwall Accounts 22/23

Obviously, I'm glad that the Berylsons have been prepared to finance the club. As fans, we want to see good signings every summer but those figures show how hard that is, especially when we're completing with clubs with far bigger budgets. However, if we're losing that amount of money, how far...

    HARRIS

Good points. I suppose that alot depends on what somebody defines as success or failure. Maybe for some people, a manager will only be successful if he gets promotion or wins a competition. Of course, by that definition, most managers are failures. In my book, that's a very harsh way to judge a...

Could be another decent day's results for us. You wouldn't fancy many of our relegation rivals picking up much this weekend. Then again, I'm sure they'd have been saying the exact same about us yesterday. I think one more win for us will be enough. Last night was so important. I reckon we now...

    HARRIS

You're right and he'll be judged on whether we stay up. However, his record since he came back is won 4, drawn 2 and lost 3. Whatever happens, he's improved things. We were in free fall before he came in.

Yes, not sure why I thought that we would have been - probably so overcome with shock after the win that I wasn't thinking straight 😆

    HARRIS

He's got 10 points from the last four home matches. Hard to argue with that.

Yes, he's got a bit of class about him.

You're certainly not alone. Before tonight, I had more or less convinced myself we were as good as relegated🤣. It looks a bit different now🥳

Yeah, you couldn't make it up, could you? I have to say, fair play to Harris tonight, the players left nothing behind them on the pitch tonight and you haveto give Harris credit for that. Billy's header off the line in stoppage time was a standout moment but there were plenty other last gasp...

I'm afraid that the losses against Rotherham and Huddersfield has given me a disease of pessimism. A draw would be a great result and you never know, stranger things have happened. In one way, it would be typical if we followed up defeats to strugglers with a result against a top side. But...

I like the look of that midfield, Silver. Tomorrow's match is a shot to nothing, so it's worth a change in midfield. Let's see what Mayor and Esse in particular can do and if they go well, maybe stick them in for what is probably a more important match next Saturday. If we are to have any chance...

I'm the same. I was fairly confident that we would escape until now but after the last 2 performances, I rate our chances of staying up at well below 50/50. You could just about make excuses for the Rotherham defeat but yesterday's defeat seems to me was down to a team and manager that are...

The Terriers V The mighty Millwall-----------match thread.

That's what really gets to me. Even if we'd drawn them, we'd be looking OK. It says something when we could take nothing from either match.
