    Championship relegation watch

I think it’s Plymouth and Huddersfield for the drop. It’s possible that we will take our foot off the gas next week but equally possible that we will put on a decent display free of relegation worries. I will go for the latter and Plymouth needing to win their last home game to stay up.

    Team v Rovrum

I would definitely start de Norre. Billy didn’t have a particularly good game against West Brom and against poor opposition we could do with more flair as the risk of being overrun is less. In any event Casper isn’t that shabby as a defensive midfielder anyway

    Injured keeper

And Boro at the right time. It usually evens itself out.

    Sarkic

If Long had stayed I still would prefer Bart to replace Sarkic despite the Reading fiasco.

    New Season Predictions

It’s been a long time since I was happier with the midfield and attack than I have been with the defence . Hutch is getting on , Murray has really gone off the boil and Long doesn’t inspire confidence . Jake is fine , Joe Bryan is a good signing and maybe Danny will have a more consistent season...

    THE DEFINITIVE TRANSFER IN/OUT THREAD!!!

Judging a new player on a few meaningless pre season friendlies is pointless. He hasn’t played much in the last 18 months and I expect him to take a bit of time to get up to speed and match fitness. Make no mistake, he is a class player and we were lucky to get him.

    Rangers after cresswell

I heard he would only sign a new contract if he was assured of getting playing time. Looks like he is going to be one of their main defenders this season

    THE DEFINITIVE TRANSFER IN/OUT THREAD!!!

Rumour somewhere of a Belgian incoming player possibly as Flemming goes?

    Cresswell

Great player with terrific attitude. Realised he needed to up his defensive game and did so brilliantly. Could have left in January when out of the side but knuckled down and became our best defender. We missed him really badly since his injury and it’s probably true that if he had been playing...

McCleary, Carter and Sheringham on promotion.

Great read! Those were the days. Let’s hope that we can get the glory days back!

    Could four points be enough?

Can’t see that happening. 2 points behind us and Blades away tomorrow as their game in hand. Sheffield United need to win to secure promotion.

    Team v Terriers

Not starting Flemming would be a major error. Of course he was running on fumes by the end of Tuesday night but he has the creativity to make things happen that no one else in the team has. He will be fine on Saturday and then gets a good break. Got to start

    QPR sack Critchley

That explains it - phew ,thought we were losing our touch 😄

    QPR sack Critchley

Concerned that the Millwall curse is weakening , times were that a defeat to us when you were struggling meant instant dismissal. Don’t know what the football world is coming to

    Rab C

Very hard to know the truth because no one knows if he even travelled down to London or not. My view is that he quite possibly did fail the medical. We would never say if that were the case or else our reputation with agents etc would be trashed but the truth will out at some point
